7 March 2010: Battle for the Cowl! A legend has fallen, who will take up the mantle and deliver their own brand of justice to Gotham City?

This will be a 500 point Restricted event. No figure may cost more than 150 points and there must be at least 5 figures on your force.

All figures must have either a Gotham City, Warrior, or Martial Artist keyword. No figure on your force may contain the name Batman, Caped Crusader, Masked Manhunter, Dynamic Duo, or Dark Knight.

Special Rules:

Two Cowl Tokens, one for each Force, will be placed in the center of the map and surrounded by blocking terrain.

The first figure from each Force to reach a Cowl Tokens will be substituted by any piece with the name Batman, Caped Crusader, Masked Manhunter, or Dark Knight. The substituted piece may not be more than twice the cost of the original figure. Place the Cowl Token on the new figure's Card (if applicable), that figure is now your Batman.

Your Batman comes into play with the same amount of damage as the piece it is replacing.

Opposing "Batman" figures are worth 1.5 victory points. Victory conditions remain the same.

14 March 2010: Hammer of Thor 800 pt Constructed Team-Up! This event will be an 800 point Restricted event in which two players will form a team and each must make a force of 400 points in order to field a combined squad.

All standard Heroclix Tournament Rules apply.

There will be Scenario Play during this event: King of the Hill

Prizes for this event: Guardians of the Galaxy Feat.

SPECIAL NOTE: The FINAL Draft for League II will occur immediately after this event.




20 March 2010: Hammer of Thor 500 Point Restricted Event! Surrounded on all sides by the enemies of the Shining City, Asgard’s champions band together to defend the Rainbow Bridge! Will your forces stand triumphant or will they awake in Valhalla?

This will be a 500 Point Restricted event. All Standard Heroclix Tournament Rules apply.

Please Note: This Event takes place on a Saturday, at Heroes Kingdom, and begins at noon.

21 March 2010: Heroclix Golden Gloves Tournament! Ladies and Gentlemen, let's get ready to rumble! The following bout will consist of your 600 point Unrestricted force vs. your opponents. However, no figure may be more than 125 points!

Who will get the KO and be named the Golden Gloves champion? Show up and find out.

The rules:

- A 10x10 area will be marked off in the center of the map to create a boxing ring. Each force may only have one figure in the "ring" at a time

- Your figures may not use range attacks, PC, perplex or outwit, even if they possess them.

- No Feats or BFC's will be allowed.

- Any attack made outside the ring, or made as part of a Hypersonic attack, Charge, or "Move & Attack" will be reduced to 1 damage.

- A KO taking place in the ring will be worth 1.5 times points of the KO'ed figure. Any KO outside the ring is worth .5 times the points of the KO'ed figure.



27 March 2010: Back to Basics Event! There ain’t no school like the old school! Do you have what it takes to field a force with no Special Powers or Traits?

Build the best 300 point Unrestircted force, but no member of your force may possess a Special Power or Trait. This will be a Tactics-Free event (i.e. no Feats or BFC’s).

Please Note: This Event takes place on a Saturday, at Heroes Kingdom, and begins at noon.

Prizes for this event: Guardians of the Galaxy Feat.



28 March 2010: Heroclix League II: Crisis on Infinite Earths! The Build Limit will be 1200 Points (Unrestricted, duh) for this League event.

This will be a Multiplayer format event with standard League scenario play (Capture the Flag, etc...).

This event begins at 5:30 pm. THIS IS THE FINAL LEAGUE II EVENT!!!

Prizes to be awarded. Punch and Pie.

I have 2 questions about the Battle for the Cowl event.

1) If a figure would be bumped over the 150 point limit due to feats, does that make them illegal to use? Or does the 150 point cap refer to the base cost?

2) Is this event restricted, or unrestricted? There's no mention in the description.

This refers to base cost only; feats will not disqualify a figure so long as the figure itself is 150 points or less.



As a rule, if an event does not say "unrestricted", it is restricted by default.

However, having said that, I should perhaps be more consistent in my desciptions.

I would have hated to build an unrestricted team and then get scolded. You probably could be a little more specific for type-A people like me if you don't want to have to answer silly questions.
